About Selen
Selen is professionally trained and has worked in this fast moving, changing industry for almost 10 years and has developed a wide spectrum of skills that can be adapted for almost any production.
She is equally at home working individually on a project or as part of a large team. She has gained invaluable experience working with blue chip UK companies including the BBC, BSKYB, Channel 5, IMG, ITN, Warner Bros and many other international companies. Her specific skills include straight make-up, special make-up effects, haircutting and barbering, facial hair knotting and application, and airbrushing for HD TV.
Selen’s work in the past has been very varied and she has worked in TV, film, commercial/advertising, music and fashion. She has also been fortunate to have worked with a number of high profile celebrities including Catherine Tate, David Hasslehoff, David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Natasha Kaplinsky, Rick Edwards, Alan Cumming, Stanley Baxter, Brian Williams and Susan Penhaligon.
